When is the best time to contact birth doula?
The sooner the better, I find clients that know the birth doula earlier on tend to be more comfortable during labor & delivery
However, some make the decision in the 8th month and are glad to have the assistance!
What is the process?
Free 15 minute meet & greet to see if we are the right fit - In this visit we will discuss birthing location, complications in pregnancy, date of arrival, learn what I do
Birth Right Prenatal Class -Â Go over all the information you need to know to have a safe labor & delivery, birthing positions, breathing techniques, and massage techniques. We also go over your birth planÂ
Optional: Birth Doula Support
Optional: Postpartum Doula Suport
Optional: Acupuncture, massage & cupping visits before labor
Can you back out of the services closer to the time?
Yes! I have had clients that have stated that they will let me know if if they need me present at labor, and just want text support!
How long is the doula there for?
As long as you need them for! Best to discuss with doula before and during labor your expectations during your delivery!
How do you use naturopathy with being a birth doula?
Naturopathic doctors are not primary HCPs for pregnancy, but there is lots we can do during pregnancy, labor, & delivery
